This policy describes how Deaux Boy (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and iOS app (together, the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. You choose a username and may add a display name and bio.
- Content you create. Recipes, photos, reviews, ratings, saves, and follows you add to the Service.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs (such as IP address and request metadata) generated by our hosting providers to operate and secure the Service.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: hosting your recipes, showing your profile, and powering feeds, search, and reviews.
- To maintain safety and security, including preventing abuse.
- To communicate with you about the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Public content
Your profile (username, display name, avatar, bio) and the recipes and reviews you post are public and visible to anyone using the Service.
Where your data lives
Account data and content are stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). The Service is hosted on Vercel. Recipe text you submit through our AI-assisted recipe creator is processed by Anthropic to structure it; it is not used to train models.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and delete your recipes and reviews at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
